As part of Innovation Day, held at the Research Institute of Emergency Software EMERCOM, the company PiroKimika demonstrated a number of its new developments.

 The company "PiroChimika" together with the All-Russian Research Institute for Fire Protection EMERCOM of Russia has developed a new concept for firefighting.  It is known that a significant factor in fire started in electrical equipment are the problem, bad electricity, worn and shabby wiring. According to statistics from EMERCOM of Russia for more than 20% of all fires are exactly this reason.
Thus, we developed the concept that involves extinguish the fire not throughout the room after it began, but localize it in its infancy. We developed the technology of microencapsulation of liquid fire retardants, and create on their basis the entire product line AST products, have allowed us to demonstrate the practical advantage of this approach.

The fire is one of the most terrible disasters. Being kindled, it does not spare neither people nor their property. In 2010, in Russia was about one hundred and eighty thousand fires, that carried away the lives of 12 thousand people. Each fifth fire occurs due to various problems with electrical wiring and appliances.
